Marsh Water Damage Miami runs on a simple idea: the person who shows up at your door should be someone you already know by name. That’s why every technician is background-checked, identity-verified, uniformed, and photo-badged before they ever park the van. Tobias Reyner, Owner, has built this crew over nearly two decades in Miami’s restoration trade. They’ve pulled water out of penthouses in Brickell, dried crawlspaces in Coconut Grove, and chased mold through attics in Hialeah. What unites them isn’t a slogan. It’s the Threshold Standard, applied to every single visit, from the first knock to the final moisture reading.
Restoration work we handle

Our People
Tobias Reyner, Owner & Lead Restoration Technician
Tobias founded Marsh Water Damage Miami in 2005 and still carries a moisture meter on most job sites. He holds IICRC certifications in water damage restoration and applied structural drying, and he’s the one who signs off on every 365-Day Done Right Promise that leaves the office. Tobias has a habit of finding things behind walls that homeowners never expected: a colony of Cuban tree frogs, a 1970s beer can collection, once a fully intact Conch Republic flag. He’ll tell you exactly what’s soaked, why it matters, and what happens next, with prices written down before anything gets cut open. If you call the office after hours, there’s a good chance the person answering is either Tobias or someone he trained personally.
Marcus D., Senior Water Damage Technician
Marcus has been with Marsh since 2016 and runs most of the larger extraction and drying jobs across Miami-Dade. He’s IICRC-certified in water restoration and handles the commercial-grade equipment daily: Dri-Eaz dehumidifiers, Phoenix air movers, and Injectidry floor-drying systems. Marcus is the one who maps out the drying plan, placing equipment where the airflow actually does the work instead of just making noise. Off the clock, he restores a 1987 Boston Whaler, which means he understands what salt air and trapped moisture do to a structure better than most textbooks ever could. Homeowners in Coral Gables and Pinecrest regularly request him by name for repeat work.
Lena S., Mold Remediation Specialist
Lena joined the Miami team in 2019 and leads most mold remediation projects. She holds certifications through RIA and has completed advanced coursework in containment protocols and air scrubbing. Lena is the person who explains psychrometric readings (measuring the moisture in the air) before she ever sets up a containment barrier. She’s thorough to a fault: if a mold issue covers more than ten square feet, she’ll walk you through exactly why full remediation beats a surface cleaning, with the written scope in hand. On weekends, Lena volunteers with a wetlands restoration group in the Everglades, which she claims is the only place in South Florida where finding mold is actually a good sign.
Danny P., Service Coordinator & Apprentice Technician
Danny is the voice you’ll most likely hear when you call Marsh Water Damage Miami. He joined in 2022 as an apprentice and now splits his time between dispatch and field support, which means he understands both what’s happening on your call and what’s happening on your job site. Danny is Threshold Verified, background-checked, and sent to every customer by name and photo before the visit, then shows his photo ID badge at the door. He’s currently training toward his IICRC water restoration certification under Tobias and Marcus. Danny grew up in Little Havana and speaks Spanish and English fluently, which comes in handy when coordinating emergency calls across the city at 2 a.m.
One Standard, Every Job
Marsh Water Damage Miami is branded as part of the Threshold Group family of restoration companies, which means consistency isn’t a goal, it’s a requirement. Every technician wears a uniform and a photo ID badge, not just on first impressions but on every visit. Every job starts with a written price before any work begins. Every repair carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: documented, time-stamped, and printed on the work order. If something isn’t right within a full year, we come back and make it right, with a free second visit included automatically. No arguments, no fine print, no “that’s not covered.” The same IICRC, RIA, and IFA credentials back every member of this crew, and the same drying equipment from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, and Injectidry gets deployed whether you’re in a studio condo in Edgewater or a single-family home in Kendall. Tobias holds the team to the standard he’d want if his own house flooded: a live person on the phone, a named technician at the door, and a drying plan explained in plain words.
